About your trip

I loved taking a break from busy Seoul and exploring Jinju – a calm, cultural city with a surprisingly deep atmosphere ✨ The Nam River, the glowing lanterns, and the traditional hanji art in the craft museum. A lot of culture in one city. A real highlight was Jinjuseong Fortress, where the story of the women and General Kim Si-min doesn’t just get told – you actually feel it. One more highlight was meeting new friends on the tour – we’re now even spending time together in Seoul. Experiences like this don’t just show you culture, they connect you with people. Thanks @Funday. If you’re traveling in Korea, Jinju is definitely worth a visit!

TIP

Definitely take enough time for Jinju. You can easily spend more than one day there, as the city is very diverse and rich in culture. Make sure to try some of the local specialties, such as Jinju Bibimbap and Jinju Naengmyeon, which are among the city's most famous foods.
