Today I joined a tour of the Kyochon Chicken Headquarters in Hwaseong. We were welcomed by the chef before getting a behind-the-scenes look at how one of Korea's most well-known fried chicken brands began. After learning about Kyochon's history and philosophy, we headed into the cooking studio to watch a live demonstration of how their signature chicken is prepared. Then it was our turn. We brushed Kyochon's signature sauce onto freshly fried chicken before sitting down to enjoy it together. It was a fun way to learn more about one of Korea's most iconic food brands, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a unique food experience beyond simply eating fried chicken.
