The Seoul Shamanism Ghost Tour was one of the most unique cultural experiences I’ve had in Seoul. I loved walking through the historic alleys and learning about Korea’s shamanic traditions through stories based on interviews with real local shamans. The explanation of the cultural symbolism behind Sindang-dong’s famous red tteokbokki and the meaning of the color red in Korean folk beliefs was especially fascinating.
